This weekend my hubby will be putting down engineered floorboard
We have already bought the floor and underlay but we are thinking whether to put something on top of the floor boards?
I was thinking of buying 18mm Plywood as a base (which is thick!!) but Selco suggested we use 4mm "hardboard" which I thought was rather flimsy.
What should we use over the floorboards before the insulation goes down
I am convinced that something needs to be put down over the floorbaords to provide a level and solid substrate
