You can buy laminate floor laying kits from any good floor supplier (B&Q do them for around £10 I think).
I prefer the click boards, no mess, perfect joins and SO easy to lay, initially some people struggle with 'em but once you've got the knack it's easy.
You need to decide whether you're going to remove the skirting boards or use some sort of bead edging, personally I remove the skirtings, clean em up and put them back, gives it a more professional finish.
Re underlay, Can't remember what they're called but I've used the Green square underlay boards (around £20 for 19sq metres) which helps with sound proofing, found them better than the rolls of underlay.
