I have just taken up pot tiles which were glued to my chipboard floating floor. So now the floor is not level because some of the chipboard came up in places. I was thinking of plywood on floor then laminate but it is in the kitchen which is being replaced for new one. Do I laminate first then put kitchen units on top or plywood floor then fit kitchen then laminate up to kitchen units.

thanks

the first means you can change your kitchen round at a later date..

the second means you can change the floor easier at a later date..

both have advantages and disadvantages..

the first makes it hard to replace the flooring.

the second leaves holes if you re-arrange your kitchen..

Just a bit bothered about getting good fit up to side of units. I don't want to use beading.
