Hi,
I am a newbie about to lay laminate in my hallway and would love some advise on where to start and what to do around doors.

Laminate is click on long edge and tonge and groove on short edge.

The hall is L shaped, as you come in the front door, living room on right, the stairs are in front of you then corridor to kitchen. The long section has a radiator with 2 pipes down to floor and at the end is basically a door on all 3 walls practically with no wall between, if that makes sense. 2 doors open into hall so they will have to come off I think to get laminate under.
I am leaving skirting on and using trim.
The stairs are carpetted, I am hoping that the carpet will cover expansion gap but it looks like it is glued to bottom step. (I haven't pulled carpet up yet)

My questions are:
1. Do I start on long wall with radiator and a doorway or short section by front door / living room door / stairs?
2. What is the best way to cover the expansion gap by upvc front door and window unit, it is full width of hall approx 170cm?
3. I have read about under cutting door frames for the expansion gap and finishing the trim just before them. How do you fit the last piece in under the door frame when the click needs to go in at an angle?

Thanks for any help.
