Hello,
I am renovating some rooms of my new home and I want to lay laminate flooring in one of them. However, after removing the old carpet and the old underlay, I have noticed that there was a telephone wire underneath the underlay.
I wonder if you have any advice on how to lay the laminate flooring in this case. Do I have to remove the wire? Can I fill the expansion gap with the wire? Any ideas and advice are greatly appreciated!
Here are some photos to give you a better idea of how thick the wire is.
Thank you very much for your time!
