Laying New Bathroom Floor Tiles

I've just completely changed the layout of our bathroom by installing a new suite and knocking a wall down to create more space.

My problem now is that I've never laid floor tiles before and have no idea what materials I need to do the job.

Can anyone give me a quick guide on what I need and the best way to go about this task please?

The current floor is just floorboards so I presume I need to prepare them in someway first?
