 Can anyone give us a straight answer to this question please!
We want to change from carpet in the dining room to quarry tiles(easy to clean with 12 grandchildren  :D Problem is we have read you cant lay these directly on top of the exsisting black marley tiles.
Is this true?If so why? and what can we have as an alertnative? Want something that we can run through to the kitchen as well. Carpet would be quick and easy i know but not practical. The old type lino would have been good but its all this cushion floor coated stuff now and they dont make the lino we have still on our kitchen floor.Been 10 yrs now and still good.

Early reply much appreciated,Sale on at do it all :D
