ldv 1.9 pilot . very sluggish. sometimes alright first thing. seems to get slower as the day/week goes on. sometimes drives so so , then sudden burst of energy.any ideas welcome.

Yep, as above.
If that doesnt sort it then whack some injector cleaner through it aswell.
If that still doesnt work then it's time to get the injectors out for a clean and pressure test.
