Lead flashing equivalent?

Anyone used the flashing equivalent from Ubiflex?

The spec seems okay, supposed to be as good as lead but a lot lighter.

Is it as good as code 4 lead?

AFAIK, this (and other similar makes) have no BBA approval so may not be acceptable to the BCO.

We have used it out of necessity following lead thefts, but it is ugly. Also check out the brochure and see how stepped flashing is done.

I've just come across another product - FromFlash by Anderson Monarflex ( www.icopal.co.uk - but not on their website you you need to email them) and this looks a much more natural replacement and proper stepped flashings too
