LEAD FLASHING ON OUTSIDE WALL

Hi, I'm having the tiles replaced on the front of my house. i've noticed that the people who owned the house before us has painted the lead that sits over the top row of tiles, can anyone tell me what sort of paint that i should use to repaint it? i'm having dark grey tiles put up so the red will not look to good with them.

i take it the lead is tucked under the bedroom window sill and is fixed to that sill?

Ive always painted lead with gloss..just gloss, no undercoat because lead is very flexible, the gloss will move with it...give it a good wash down and rub down the existing paint as best as you can
