Hi all looking to install a new bathroom in an old glasgow tenement building that has old lead pipes. what is best way to fit in new plastic piping,i think the plastic connectors can only be used on plastic & copper.Any advice would be gratefull.
Could have someone solder a copper stub into the end of the lead pipe, most modern plumbers probably wouldn't touch it, due to lack of skill and training, I guess its one of those things that just been forgotten due to lead becoming less common.
