Boc will hire you the cylinders. oxy/propane or oxy/ acy. You can buy a torch from them. It is a miniture welding torch. They aint cheap. This kit aint that portable though. I get mine up near an In Situ job by means of longer hoses. After all that the hard bit begins............learning. Or maybe you are a lead burner?
Just joined'may be to late, but best lead welding equipment is Portaflame, less than half the weight of BOC Portapak.Put Portaflame into google or ebay.Hope this helps.
Hi. As posted Boc will hire you the cylinders, i think Murex are their retailers for equipment> You will need gauges, hose and a model "O" torch it has 5 nozzles (1 to 5) allowing welding on varying thickness of lead sheet. For general use on say code 4 and 5 lead sheet a No.3 would be of on this range. Good Luck
PS Posted extracts of a film i am making on lead welding to You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DbamTXhA7c
