I have a large brick-built garage on a concrete floor. It is, sadly, not particularly watertight and I'm trying to sort it.
The 'pedestrian' entrance is a normal upvc external door and when it rains it leaks around the bottom. It's hard to see exactly where the leak is coming from. The outside ground (covered in chips) is a bit higher than the inside.
I've added a couple of photographs showing the situation. I'd appreciate any thoughts on sorting this one out. Is it just that the door is badly sealed? I'm not averse to ripping out the door and re-sealing it if that's what it takes to do a proper job. However, I've had problems with damp due to drainage issues at the other side so I'm a bit paranoid now.
