Hi,

I have a flue through my roof and occasionally when it rains heavily it leaks. The water seems to get under the flashing runs down the tiles and then drips down on top of the boiler. (So I have bodged something to catch the water)

Does the lead flashing need replacing or where should I start looking?

Flue not in correct position ( no white flue should be showing) may well need shortening to sit down in correct place.
Apart from that the dressing down of lead slate is appalling and slate is not tiled in correctly.
You need a G S engineer who knows a bit about roof work.

BTW what does the "G S" part mean? I presume the G means Gas but the S?
