Recently purchased a home with a small leak from the bulkhead.the leak is not coming from above but where the previous home owner drilled a small hole in the foundation to drip into the basement then into the sump. The previous home owner also had an old french drain that runs into the pump but seems to be not working. My question is if I fill in the small drilled hole where will the water come from and what are my other options other than basement technologies for 5,000$. I will post pics.
