Hi

I have a damp under stairs cupboard which I suspect could be from a leaky or cracked drainage pipe. I was planning on using some drainage dye to determine if this is where the water is coming from.

I have seen some on Screwfix but the instructions for use do not really make a lot of sense to me:

Can anyone explain how i dilute this dye for use.

Many thanks in advance.

I just mix the powder up with some water until its a bright colour.....its meant for use in tracing drain directions really - I'm not sure if the damp would show as a colour, if at all.
John :)
