just over 1 year old, did not take extra warranty - typical, noticed water leaking from both sides of dryer, still works but takes longer to dry the clothes

If it's a vented dryer then the vent hose is blocked. Check the vent hose and clean out the ducting in the dryer.

if its got a vent in the wall it may be blocked with fluff / lint

make sure hose is not kinked
