Hi there,

I have recently moved into a house that has a Triton Amber electric shower installed. The shower seems OK but has a bit of a leak which is doing my head in, as it has progressively got worse over the last 3 weeks.

I have uploaded some photos to show the unit and where the leak is coming from...

As I have tried to show in the last photo the leak is coming from the main tap section and dripping down into the inside of the casing before coming out the gap in the casing sections. The leak is NOT coming from the rubber pipe.

The leak was at first just a few drips while I was showering but is now a steady flow of cold water, that drips onto the taps below and splashes me on the body while I shower - very annoying!

Here is a video of the leak as well to illustrate:

Can anyone help? Looking for some advice on how I can fix this leak!!! Thanks,

Mark

You'll have to buy a complete new stabiliser valve they are not repairable.
New one retails about £30.

Thanks for the info. Hope you don't mind me asking some follow ups...

* The stabiliser valve I assume is the "tap" part that the water is leaking from?

* Where can I find this part online?

* Will I need a part number and if so where will I find this?

* Finally is there any instructions on fitting?

Thanks,

Mark
