I just installed this new Grohe bath tap and I seem to have a leak from the hot right on the side where the washer meets the tap raiser.
The cold is fine, I have tightened it all the way but made no difference.

I opened it up and I see the hot washer is marked only on one side.
What am I doing wrong. Do I need a thicker washer as this tap has a bit of adjustment allowance.

I know broke the washer it is a 3/4” one where can I find a replacement. I looked at Screwfix but they don’t do them anymore.

That's why it leaked, it wasn't square when tightening up.

You might get away with 3/4" hose washers.

I replaced with hose washers 3/4” and there is no leak. Now the thickness of the hose washers is 2mm where the Grohe are 2.7mm. Would I have to add 2 on each feed or might be ok as is.

I hand tight both of them and there is no no leak whatsoever. What shall I do?
