Leaking AEG Favorit 44070 IV

This is an integrated d/w.

The door hinges where the d/w juts out at ankle height and in the angle of this overhang there are 2 small holes on each side. One on the right leaks a little when the d/w is used, although not if we haven't used it for a few days. What are these holes and how does water get in there in the first place????

I have already checked the bottom rotor arm for splits / blocks / leaks and have changed the door seal as a precaution.

Any ideas appreciated!

the only time I have seen water coming from those holes before was when the seams on the sides of the spray arms had split, not very noticably (I found out what was happening by running with the door open and a perspex sheet in its place,.)
