Hi , I have read some of the advice posted already on this topic, unfortunately I still have a few questions & would be grateful for any advice.

The cold feed to my dishwasher drips water at the junction between the copper-piping and inlet pipe. I have overtightened this & added PTFE tap to the waterpipe supply thread.

Realising my overtightening may be causing the problem , (I have attempted this several times) I tighten the connection the recommended amount, it then sprayed water everywhere, I have the impression that the water pressure is very high. The inlet pipe is not blocked & the machine is working, just dripping over the floor.

The dishwasher is a 'smeg compact', about 9months old, the inlet-pipe did not contain any washers or 'o' rings within the connection, I have since tried a selection of O rings, the best result I have acheived is as initially described , 'overtightened , PTFE tape and no o ring'.

Is there something else I should consider? thanks GT
