This is a 10 year old Kenmore Ultra, model 110.92282100. After the basket fills with water, and the wash cycle starts, water drips from the fill point at the top, into the basket. It drips whether on or off. We ran a wash while gone for work - came home to find the drip had filled and overflowed the basket after the cycle was done. Is there a gasket that seals off water flow when the machine tries to stop the flow? Thanks in advance!!

It sounds like you need to replace the fill valve on your washer. If the valve gets crud in it, the valve will not close properly and leak water out.
