Okay, my shower unit has started to flow out from the underside of the control unit. Is this a case of 'replacement cartridge' or could it be a perished seal ring or whatnot?
It's coming under the floor from the en suite shower into the bedroom side. I only took the head off the control unit, but whatever I did it seems to have created havoc.
Can anyone see from this anything obvious please and thank you?
1 don't panic
2 turn water off hot and cold, open ground floor taps to relieve the water pressure
3 find means of isolating shower (add full bore iso valves for instance)
4 turn rest of water back on until you can fix shower
5 let floor dry out.
I'm no expert in showers, if you want to repair it you will need the model to get parts.
I've never used them personally but a company called showerdoc may be able to help.
