I replaced an old cistern bottom entry in let valve, but the connection between the plastic part and the metal nut is leaking. how do i stop it from leaking? I have used the plumbers tape but that hasn't helped.
Plastic conectors are carp.In this situation, I remove the connector and fit a 1/2 F BSP x 1/2 M BSP connector (or 1/2 x 15mm comp, with the nut and olive removed) , onto which you can screw the connector.
