Firstly I a had a shower mixer tap installed on my bath, however due to low water pressure I had to install a stuart Turner pump under the bath to boost the water supply. It seems now with the pump installed that the connection between the tap and the pipe is leaking. Getting to the connection is very difficult as there is no room to tighten the connect anymore than it is. Is there anyway of fixing this leak without removing the bath i.e a special tool or a mould I can fix onto the connection. I really want to avoid removing the bath as that will be a big job

Thank-you Peter I will try that. It is a shame the orginal plumber didn't use one.

but also you may need a new tap connector washer if you tighten it and you find it still leaks

The plumber thinks that he can not get to the tap properly to use the basin wrench. However it is possible to use plumbers putty to stop the leak....

If the leak is from the pipe he wont be successful with putty. If its leaking from the bath seal then use putty.
