Wonder if you can help here. In the summer I painted the garden wall which is rendered block with a Tyrolean finish. It’s roadside, on a hill and there’s a lot of earth behind it - all but the last foot or so from the top.
When the rain came I noticed in a couple of places that the paint was blistering and when prodded a rusty trickle of water came out. We’ve scraped the flaky paint off and put an SBR slurry over it (5:1:1 ratio) but it hasn’t worked, it’s still seeping through. There are drainage holes along the bottom of the wall which I’ve poked with a broom handle, and nothing seems to be blocking them. The wall otherwise seems in good nick.
Any thoughts on what else I could do? Thanks
