Hi (again) all!

It seem that an elbow joint on my soil pipe, just before where it vents to the environment in the loft is dripping.

It's only a few drips a minute, doesn't smell bad, and everything is flushing/emptying at full pace, so I'm assuming it's just condensation or rainwater etc.

What's the correct way to seal this joint properly? I tried self-amalgamating tape but the water got out. I'm loath to duct tape it, unless someone tells me it's a good idea....!

Cheers,

Andy

It's a grey plastic pipe, looks to be push-fit. Having just googled it, should there be a rubber seal that I can replace?

ok you can not buy the seals seperate. but you can change them.
either but a new part and fit or buy a part and just change the seal.

@Bahco - No, the pipe vents out through the top of the roof. There's a hole in the roof in other words, with a raised tile above it.

@sanj.varah - I would do, but it isn't dry enough for the silicone to set... :(
