Apologies if this should be in the plumbing section.......

Hi I have a Zanussi Washing Machine that had started to come up with an E90 error message that usually meant we'd check the filter and then it was all ok. However it has started showing the error on the last 3 washes. I don't have the instructions and the Zanussi website doesn't have my particular model's one so I don't exactly know what the E90 error is!

To add to the issue, the dogs had a little chew on the filter's screw thread when it was away from the machine and now it looks like it doesn't screw tight enough back. Water gushes out from this now.

Any thoughts? Any help gratefully rec'd!
Thanks, Clive

The E90 error is what you see as an end user. In service mode it will have one of three different sub-codes (E91, E93, or E94). Depending on which one it can signal: a communication error between the main pcb & user interface, a configuration error, or incorrect configuration of a washing cycle. All you can do is take off the pcb & interface plugs one at a time and re-seat them again to see if the error disappears. Has anyone been playing with the buttons or trying to access service mode? The dog chewed filter I can't help you with...the simple answer is to buy a new one. Depending what it chewed you may need one (or all) of these http://www.espares.co.uk/parts?k=1321368001 http://www.espares.co.uk/parts?k=1320711003 http://www.espares.co.uk/parts?k=1320712001 ;)

I thought the pump plug was integrated into the filter? As it all came out in one go. I'll have another look as I'm not the most technically minded!
Thanks again.

It would come out in one piece...but it is made up of 3 separate parts. Each of which can be bought stand-alone.
