Hi new here and in need of a bit of advice.

I have a leak in my roof it appears to be coming in between where the roof meets the chimney. So I believe it is the flashing that is the cause of the problem. From the outside it appears to be concrete flashing.

I want to get on the roof this weekend and make a temporary/permanent repair, to stop too much damage being done during this terrible weather.

What would you advise as the best fix?
Looking at the wicks website I am considering either:
http://www.wickes.co.uk/Hi-Tack-Flashing-Strip/invt/243008
http://www.wickes.co.uk/Acrylic-Roof-Repair/invt/243816

Would it be possible to patch it up with a bit of concrete?

Any alternatives or advice would be most welcome.

Thanks

get rid of the cement fillet as soon as poss and as JL shows, get a proper flashing, it'll save you money in the long run.

While you're up there it may be an idea to seal the outside brickwork of the chimney with a waterproofer as well if not already done

I`ll second that . but leave the fillet for now and go for the Granger`s waterproofer or similar " Splash it all over " ;)
