Hoping someone can help with a leaky roof!

Last year, we had a chimney removed (because it leaked and was not used), the area was refelted and tiled. As far as we know, the work was sound, we never noticed any drips.

Last month, we had a boiler installed with a flue through the same roof, shortly followed by a velux. Fortunately for us, the heavens opened shortly after and last week we returned to a bit of a flood. The biggest problem was the top left corner of the velux. There seems to be a hole in the felt that the rain was pouring through. Drips were also coming from every other corner but feel that they were dripping round the frame rather than coming in from a hole. We have tested it with a hose and spraying directly above the window results in a leak, as does spraying a bit further above it too, but not from the top.

The other leak was from the new felt were the chimney had been removed. It was sagging and rain was pouring through. Testing it, it's fine on the new tiles, but above this and the water comes in through the sagging felt.

In testing it we also discoved that the boiler flue leaks (although didn't notice this last week in the rains).

I'm after advice on how to deal with the trades involved. The same builder removed the chimney and velux and a plumber installed the flue. Do I contact each individually to get them to have a look and hope they fix it for free. Or get a roofer round for unbiased opinion and pass on the cost if neccesary? Or something else?

Thanks!

The roofer who done the velux and flue weathering should be given the chance to rectify any problems before you call anyone else in.

Can you post external pics of the problem areas?

Part of the problem is that the plumber put the flue in, but a different builder did the rest of the work.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Sorry it's taken so long to get pictures.

Quick update, builder came round, laid some more felt around velux and repatched the area where the chimney had been removed. Definately a lot less leakage but still some coming in when tested with a hose so his suggestion is a new roof.

Here are the photos.
