I'm planning on building a lean to shed over our side return path, which has block paving that extends to the rear patio. At some point in the future I'll need to get a mini digger through it for some garden landscaping, so I'm thinking that rather than building a raised timber base it would be better to just use the existing paving as the floor, as it can take the weight of the digger.
So my first question is is it right to think that a standard ply or OSB shed floor on timber joists wouldn't be able to support the weight of a mini digger?
Assuming it isnt, I'm trying to figure out the best way to prevent water getting in when it rains. The ground is slightly sloped so it would flow down the path towards the shed. My only thought is to border it with an aco drain and route it around the shed and into the front garden, but I doubt that would keep it all out.
Thanks for any help
David
