Hi All,
Has anyone returned a leased car with damaged paintwork?
My other half has pranked the car, damaging an area of about 6" x 6" scratched paint down to bare metal.
Bodywork is not damaged, just the paint.
Just wondering whether to get it professionally repaired now or return the car 'as is' and take the hit.
I have 24mths to run on the lease.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Doug

I thought most people took them to a "chips and dents" place just before returning.

it'll be cheaper for you to get it repaired yourself that let the lease company charge you for it.

Any leased - or PCP'd - vehicle returned with damage will be repaired at your expense by the leasing company.
It's much, much cheaper to get the damage repaired by yourself.
John :)
