Looking into the conversion of our 10 degree tiled extension roof to GRP. Is it possible to leave the Velux (I believe they should be at least at 15 degrees) when the GRP is fitted? Not sure if these can trimmed up to be waterproof.
Thanks in advance.

It would make sense to raise the velux to a better pitch while you are in the process of correcting things.

Thanks, for the reply but if not raised, would they be able to flash around it as it is, following the removal of existing flashing?

Hmm well your going a bit off piste a bit there!
Once you remove the flashing kit you will be left with the frame of the skylight and if you bond/resin to that then you will have problems when you come to change the skylight.

Again, thanks. It was a suggestion made by someone who feels the existing could be left and made good rather than disposing of. I was thinking to replace with something designed for a flat roof, albeit it is 10 degrees but not sure if there will be a simple swap due to the size and shape of the Velux and may require rafters to be cut to fit and resultant plaster work to ceiling.

A skylight for a tiled roof is different to one for a flat roof coating (even if the flat roof is at an angle).

You could in theory design a kerb upstand to receive the frame, but the the flashing over this would need to be purpose made too and performance would be unknown and not guaranteed. And after messing about with all that, you may as well as fitted a new correct one that you know would work.

Thanks, for the reply, will look into which model of Velux they are and explore whether there is a suitable alternative but for the same size of aperture or discuss enlarging the aperture and possibly doing without any.
