Hi,
Recently had MR16 bathroom downlights replaced with GU10 LED downlights and bedroom (next door) dimmer switch replaced with Digiflux low load dimmer and Digiflux dimmable CFL in the bedroom.
Have noticed on more than one occassion, when the bedroom and bathroom lights are on, if the bedroom light is then turned off, the bathroom lights go bright momentarily and then back to normal. The dimmer switch is a push on-off type.
Can someone explain why this might happen? I didnt notice the old halogen bathroom lights do this. It could be a dodgy dimmer or dodgy LEDs - but is there a theory behind what is happening? ie switching low loads or something? (sorry I dont have the technical terms).
The LEDs were £15 each so I'd like to think they will last a long time and not be blown from a power surge. I havent tried a traditional bulb in the bedroom yet.
Thanks,
RT
