Just replaced a load of halogen GU10s with LEDs in a restaurant.
Says on the (LED) box "Not for dimming"
Needles to say, some were fed by a dimmer. So I thought . . . well I'll just make sure the dimmer's fully turned up, so as not actually dimming.
After a few minutes they started to flicker.
Within fifteen minutes we were in the dark. All the lamps (fortunately only five) fed by the dimmer had failed.
Won't do that again.
