Help!!!!!!

Can anyone tell me if I can pour self leveling compound directly onto a bitumen painted concrete floor, will it stick (maybe with a coating of good old fashioned PVA first????)?
Has anyone done this successfully before?

Thanks in antisipation

This has come up on a few posts before, generally if its sound then you can screed over it,I always try to get up as much as pos first though.
I wouldn't bother with the pva just make sure the surface is as dust free as poss.

Thanks for the reply

I need the bitumen as it's the only form of damp proofing, I was planning to re paint (a couple of coats) to make it sound, compound it then tile it.

I have screeded over my bitumin emmulsion damp proof paint with 50mm of sand cement screed. I intend on pouring a levelling screed soon just prior to carpetting, the 50mm of screed will help protect the bitumin as well.

Did you pain the stuff on up your walls as well?
