Hi All.
I'm desperate for some advice please. I am in the process of a self build single story kitchen extension that incorporates the old kitchen too. As there was a significant slope in the garden we have built a block and beam floor that joins the existing slab of the old house (Victorian terrace)
In short there is a small discrepancy in height between the two floors, maybe about 20mm which needs to be brought up before we insulate and then put underfloor heating in; we want a tiled finish so I think our only option is to put a screed over the insulation. My question is what is the most cost effective way to bring the two floors level before we insulate?
Many thanks in advance
Leo
