Hi, I've started making projects from recycled pallets. Things like potting benches, work benches etc are all an ideal project for this free wood. My latest one: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/147112/IMG_2187.JPG
Something I haven't quite figured out yet is how to make a level surface. By it's nature it's not all quite the same size. Even a few mm makes the surface look rough. I can sand it down but it's not always practical.
I can fix all the wood one side and that side becomes level, but of course it's the wrong side I can get the wood laid out on a workbench and get it level, but need some way to fix it on the underside but keep it level.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
