Leyland vinyl matt paint for first coat on plaster

Is it ok to use this paint for the mist coat on a bathroom ceiling, then subsequent coats on this and other ceilings?

I want to get a reasonably cheap, but still reasonable quality white emulsion for the ceilings, before shelling out on dulux for the walls. Is leyland a reasonable choice, or should I go to a shed and get something else?

Yes...as long as your plaster is dry.

Is it ok to use Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt in the bathroom, or do I need to use the eggshell?

I don't think they mix the eggshell in the colour variety of the matt.
