Help required please,

As title, LG Steam Tumble Dryer (2015) cuts out after 3 mins, no error code flashes.

But I get the symbol on the screen flash:

I have tried everywhere including the manual to identify this symbol, but no joy.
Machine condenser is clear, pipes are not blocked.
This dryer vents to a drain - no issues at at the drain.

Please help - this is driving me mad.
Thanks

Just a guess but I would say that the water collection tank needs emptying. If you have done that then ther may be a stuck float switch or problem with a water level sensor. Posting your model number would help.

Is it the 'empty water' symbol? Page 19 of the manual: file:///C:/Users/martinw/Downloads/MFL67708613[1].pdf
It is, how did I miss that :)

As I am using the Condensed Water Drain-out - I would as suggested look for float level device - any ideas where I could look?

Thanks again

It could be at the rear of the water collection tank you would need to remove the top cover and possibly the rear one to gain access. Also given the drain out mode you are using it may in fact detect that the pipe is blocked so there could be a sensor in that area if there is no blockage.

Hi,

The drain pipe I have to my outlet is not blocked.
I did take off the side of the dryer, and found this at the back.

So that's the float/drain pump.
No way of getting to it without taking the drum out.
So will do that & see what I find.
I did tip the dryer to the front a little & water was draining out of it, so possibly the float or pump aren't working.

Looking online only £47 but will take off first.

Thanks
