9.5kw electric shower and over it's lifetime I have replace the hose twice and the head probably as many times. The hoses eventually go stiff and despite cleaning the heads with acetic acid, the jets deteriorate - which was the state of our present one until yesterday and I was warily looking for a replacement. Many do not seem to state whether they are suitable for electric showers or mixer showers, hence my being wary.
I was browsing round Lidl yesterday and spotted some heads, which as usual, failed to mention what system they were intended for, just mentioning the various selectable spray modes. So I bought one, with not far to go to return it if it wasn't suitable. It looked to be the same as our old one anyway.
Now fitted, I find it's absolutely the best shower head I have ever bought for our shower. It might look like our old head, but it has more spray modes including an 'invigorating high pressure' one, which works extremely well, so well it would squirt across the bathroom if allowed.
