My glass hob was installed without a seal. How do I lift it to apply the seal? Here's the installation instruction. The oven is below the hob. I don't think I can access the underside of the hob to get to the clips without removing the oven.
The oven is secured with 2 screws, possibly 4.removing the oven.
Yes, that would have worked. But, I can only say that on hindsight.Just prise it up carefully with something non metallic.
By some residents of the London zoo. They live somewhere between the big apes enclosure and monkeys enclosure. Bringing them back would risk greater damage. I discovered they stuck on a kitchen trim piece using silicone and oil. It must have taken them quite a bit of effort because it took me quite a bit of effort to reattach without oil and using hybrid polymer sealant.by whom?
Good idea. Can get a pair of double cups from Amazon for just over a tenner a pair, though one would probably do to lift one side and wedge into place, and then move it to the other side to raise that up.Suction cup glass lifter? Or one of those suction cup based handles the elderly use to help get in/out of a shower bath? Perhaps even a smaller suction cup off a toy, mobile phone screen replacement kit etc will be sufficient to lift a few mm and let you get some other tool under the edge of the hob
