Around 6 weeks ago ago the fuse blew for my downstairs lights, replaced the fuse wire.
6 weeks later it's gone again, this time I have narrowed it down to our backroom light.
I disconnected our lighting fitting (has integral fan) because I thought that was at fault. (still blowing fuses)
So tonight I just connected a bulb holder and bulb and thought all was good..until about 20 mins later when the fuse blew again!
So at the moment I have completely disconected the wire and turned the switch on, this has been on for over an hour now and the fuse has not blown.
(power to the ceiling rose)
I am sure if I connect the bulb holder again it will blow.
Any ideas much appreciated.
(the other thing I don't get is why it doesn't always blow straight away ?)
Thanks in advance Ted
