Hi,
I am looking to replace my hall lights, with LED modern lights and the fitting is different as expected.
The new LED light only has a live and neutral does not require an earth according to the instructions. I presume I can just put black electrical tape over the earth wire
My existing hall light fittings both have loop wires as shown below:
The brown wire and black wire with red tape on it I believe to be the live.
The remaining black wires, along with the blue, I believe to all be neutrals.
I am not sure what I do with the loop wires, do they go into one of the live feeds on the new LED fitting?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance.
