Hi there wondering if you can help i have a 2 gang light switch one which works the kitchen and one that works the outside light. The kitchen works fine yet the outside switch does not switch it on it seems that tere is no power going to the light outside as i have tested it with a meter can you tell me how i can find out if the outside light wires are connected to the light switch ie what colours sholud they be and where do they go in the double switch

first things first....
You say you main lights work, and the outside isnt... so have a look behind the switch.... could be a loose or broken link wire...
Has the outside light ever worked? or is it a recent failure?

as far i know the light was working before i moved in 3 months ago i looked behind the switch but appears to have know broken wires. the wires from the outside light are brown and blue but cant find any blue behind the switch
