Where can I get a timer, to fit in line with a light switch, to turn off a light after a pre-set time?
It is for a little-used store room where people often forget to turn off the light, leaving it on for several days at a time.
Many years ago I lived in a block of flats that had such a timer on the (communal) hall/landing light, you had about 60 seconds to get upstairs and into your door. This was a really old mechanical thing that literally flicked the switch actuator up to the off position.
Is there a modern day version of this?
I've tried Googling to find one but all that comes up are those 7-day digital plug-in timers that are used to deter burglars.
