Sorry IxV = p
Yes it is.so 6A x 230v = 1380w
thats not enough,
No you don't.i need to run 2.2kw
No.so can I just swap the MCB for a 10A
Is that all you have in the circuit, just cable?the cable is all 1.5mm
Cable 20a junction boxes and a switchYes it is.so 6A x 230v = 1380w
thats not enough,
No its not

I did not write those things.
Go away.
You might want to apply diversity to your calculations.
I think you'll find that the real idiot is the one who is so completely ignorant that he has come up with a "design" which calls for that much power and is so utterly stupid that he does not see that his incompetence and ignorance should be a bar to him "designing" lighting installations.Right I'll try again because all I've learnt from some idiot on here so far is that 1380w is enough and I don't need 2,2kw !!!
because most lighting items, ceiling roses, switches etc are rated at 6 amps so when a fault occurs and there is a high fault current one of those might "blow" before the MCB operates. Sometimes they don't blow but instead start to glow, red hot sometimes and then things nearby may catch fire. Can someone please explain why I can't upgrade MCB to 10a
