Lighting/wiring question

Hi

Apologies if this is covered in the wiki but I want to be sure before I proceed....

My upstairs landing has 3 x 1 gang light switches, each of which controls the single landing light. I have bought replacement 1-gang, 2-way switches, but upon removing one of the existing switches, it has L1, L2, L3 & L4 terminals, not L1, L2 & COM like the ones I've bought.

Going to the L1/2/3/4 terminals are 2 red & 2 black wires.

Any advice on who to wire them up or do I need to purchase intermediate switches instead?

Yes, you need one intermediate switch.
