Hi

As a novice I am getting pretty results from plastering - the more i do the better i get.

However when doing large surfaces I would like to slow down the plaster going off.

When on a plastering course the trainer mentioned Lime Putty. But I can't find this anywhere. Where do i buy this from? They never heard of it in B&Q!

Cheers

lime putty is not anything like multi finish or board finish its used in old houses, listed buildings, churches and its not cheap to buy,
Google for it, you buy it in buckets / tubs, you mix it with silver sand or as like for the finish coat and if you don't get your backing coat damp enough
it can be bloody hard work to get a good finish.
