I have rendered a stone wall with a haired scratch coat and a smooth second coat, I was wondering if I could do a third very thin coat of just lime and water to fill in the tiny imperfections?
There's lime and sand, and there's limewash. When I tried recently to do something in between these two, I ended up with a crazed surface.
However, I've been quite surprised how well limewash fills small cracks and smooths out imperfections
